Welcome to the Pirate Castle website
Promoting activities and training for young people, our aim is to work with them to gain in self confidence and develop life and social skills that will benefit them and help them to achieve their potential in life.
While it is to be hoped that these activities are fun, what we offer is best described as a kind of informal education for these young people. To achieve these aims we work in partnership with other charities and authorities by providing narrowboats and canalside indoor facilities for both local organisations and visiting groups. We are determined to help, above all, those young people who have problems and disadvantages that could prevent them from finding happy and useful occupation in life.
