The Pirate Viscount Experience

Our Pirate Viscount is a canal boat available for use by community groups and schools. The boat is designed for day and evening trips along the Regents Canal from our base in Camden Town.

The Viscount is also available for private hire for that special occasion, or to take your friends and family out on the water for a pleasant jaunt. The boat can carry up to 12 people in very comfortable surroundings.

Let our experienced and friendly crew do the work while you sit back and enjoy watching the world pass by at 3 to 4 miles per hour. The canals operate at a much gentler pace than most of us are used to and it is a good way to unwind after a hectic day at work.

Nothing could be nicer than going boating on a summer’s evening. After the brightness of the day, the dusk and the dark are the most magical of times to be afloat. Everything looks so beautiful when reflected in the still waters as the boat slides along the channel. Should the evening turn chilly, the boat can be kept warm with the diesel heater.

We hope that while you are on board that you will feel at home. There is a small kitchen where food may be warmed or hot drinks made. Feel free to bring your own food, or if you prefer we can arrange a caterer for you.

The boat’s potential uses include entertaining clients, holding meetings, team building sessions, floating dinner parties, family outings, romantic evenings and once even as a limousine to carry the bridal pair away on honeymoon.

The proceeds from these boat trips go to the Pirate Club and they help to support the charitable work done on our boats, which offer subsidized boat trips and holidays to groups that need them.
