A cruise on our residential boat over a weekend or a week is an enjoyable, interesting and fun way to get to know some of Britain’s wonderful canal and river navigations, bringing you close up to their history, engineering and surrounding wildlife as you cruise along at a relaxing four miles an hour. Unlike many hire and hotel boats we offer a-hands on experience where you will become involved with all the aspects involved with the operation of the boat, from working the locks and steering the boat to helping prepare the evening meal and activities ashore, all under the guidance of one of our friendly, qualified skippers. We find that our residential trips provide a great group bonding experience for everyone, be they young or old, and that at the end of your trip everybody will leave knowing they have had a memorable experience.
