Just imagine it, a trip to London where
there is so much to see that you would
need to come again many times just to
scratch the surface of what it has to
offer. Not everything needs to cost you a fortune and in some areas the streets are alive night and day. Just looking about is a real eye opener. London is a very varied place and the population is cosmopolitan. Youth groups are equally varied and they come to London for all kinds of different reasons. Some come to go shopping, others to have their eyes opened to different lifestyles, some for a specific event like the Notting Hill Carnival, to see the Millennium Dome, the London Eye, a football match or just to be tourists for a while. London is a rich resource for visiting groups. With so much choice, it is not hard to think up an exciting programme for your group. At the end of the day, you and your group will need a base to return to, where you can cook your meal, relax, wash and sleep in comfort. You want it to be good value, yet handy for central London, with tubes and buses nearby. |

We believe that we have just what you are
looking for. And more, because our
accommodation is on a boat! Your floating
home in London will help make your visit truly
memorable. The Pirate Club's narrowboat
'Pirate Princess' offers high quality
accommodation at a reasonable price to
youth groups from outside London and
overseas. When not away on her travels, the boat's home is at the Pirate Castle, which is on the Regents Canal between Camden Lock Market and London Zoo. There are plenty of places of interest locally, and there are tube trains and buses nearby to take you into town for sightseeing. 'Pirate Princess' sleeps parties of up to 12 people with her three cabins. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, a shower and two toilets. The boat has a coal stove to keep you warm and comfortable at any time of year. Groups need to provide their own food and bedding. The boat will be cleaned and prepared before your arrival and a caretaker will be around to help out if necessary. Cost per head is £120.00 all inclusive, which with a full boat works out at £10.00 per head. Interested parties should contact the Pirate Club on 020 7267 6605 for further details. |
